Teachable moments: Lesson 1

Teachable moments are beautiful things.  When my two year old daughter points out the moon, I ask her, "Who made the moon?". To which she replies, "God".  It's a proud moment.  Then I ask her who made the stars and her response is the same.  We are on a roll!  "Ok, so who made you?" "Mommy." Well...hmm.  I suddenly realized that I am not prepared for this future conversation!

Domestic by Divine?

30 years old, college graduate, married eight years and two children under the age of two.  I went from working 60+ hours a week to becoming a stay at home mom, which is all hours in the week!  The shift in routines and demands has not been as easy as I had hoped.  I find myself in a new adventure daily.  My homemaking skills are increasing little by little and my head spins a little less with each new discovery.  But being domestic was not my college major.  God has me in a new school, and I'm learning what it means to be "Domestic by Divine".
